Product Description

Since the 1950s American firearms were used extensively in Taiwan including the M1 Garand and M1 Carbine. This is a 1950s Taiwan Made Variant Of The WW2 US M1 Garand Rifle Bayonet & Scabbard

The bayonet has black plastic grips and an overall length of 14". The 9 3/4" single-edged fullered blade retains all of its parkerised finish.

The blade is crisply stamped on the ricasso 'KS 60-6' together with roundel which is the manufacturer code for Taiwan.

The bayonet has a sprung push button at the cross guard which is a lock release catch to retain the bayonet in the scabbard. This operates smoothly.

The scabbard is a green plastic/composite material and is in good condition. It has a bent wire hook for attaching to a belt and both sides of the scabbard have small cartouches near to the throat.
