Collection: Spode Persia Serving Plate
Persia was one of the patterns produced on the Royal College shape. It was designed by David Jackson of the Royal College of Art in 1961. The design features alternate panels of green and gold crosses and was inspired by an unusual Persian carpet design. It was decorated with a silkscreen transfer and had a gold edge and line. A blue version was introduced in 1965.
Spode Persia (Y8520) was produced from 1962 to 1977. The gold trim on this pattern means it is not safe for use in the microwave. If you need replacement or additional pieces for your collection of Spode Persia, monitor this page on a weekly basis for new listings.
