Product Description

This is an original WW2 British .303 No.4 Enfield rifle sling, marked for RAF (Royal Air Force) issue, dating to the Second World War period. Manufactured from heavy-duty woven canvas with correct steel fittings, this sling was designed for use with the No.4 Lee-Enfield rifle but was also issued across different branches of the British armed forces, including the RAF Regiment and airfield defence units.

The sling retains its authentic wartime appearance, showing honest service wear consistent with age, storage, and military use. RAF-marked examples are less commonly encountered than standard Army-issued slings, making this an attractive piece for collectors of RAF equipment or British small-arms accessories.

Condition is good overall, with clear markings and functional fittings. Ideal for completing a period-correct rifle display, webbing set, or militaria collection, this sling represents a genuine and increasingly scarce example of British wartime equipment from the 1939–1945 period.
