Original WW2-dated 1943 Argentine .380 British Revolver Mk II military cartridge, manufactured by Cartuchería Orbea Argentina S.A.I.C. of Buenos Aires.
The headstamp reads ORBEA 43 .380 II, identifying the manufacturer, 1943 production date, and .380 British Mk II cartridge designation. This ammunition was manufactured in Argentina during the Second World War to British specifications.
The cartridge retains its brass case and copper-jacketed round-nose projectile, with a particularly clear and desirable wartime headstamp.
Condition: There is a small longitudinal split running down from the case mouth, clearly visible in the photographs and reflected in the price.
