When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
Original First World War German H.Z.05 Schr. artillery fuze, manufactured in 1916 and intended for shrapnel ammunition used with German 10.5cm light field howitzers. Contemporary documentation identifies the H.Z.05 Schr. as a time and percussion fuze, including use with the 10.5cm l.F.H. 98/09 and l.F.H.16.
The upper marking reads “H.Z.05 Schr. Sb.16”. The Sb marking is associated with Straßburg Arsenal, while 16 indicates 1916 manufacture. Surviving H.Z.05 Schr. examples bearing the same “HZ05 Sb16” marking are documented.
An impressive multi-material fuze retaining its brass components, graduated aluminium time-setting rings and substantial threaded lower body. Numerous drilled holes clearly demonstrate its deactivated/inert condition. Considerable age-related wear, marks and oxidation remain, giving it excellent original WW1 display character.
