Product Description
This selection of vintage Dutch Guilder banknotes from the 1960s and 1970s includes denominations of 5, 10, and 25 Gulden, each showcasing distinctive Dutch design and cultural heritage. Issued by De Nederlandsche Bank, these notes feature iconic imagery such as the statue of Erasmus (ƒ5), Baruch Spinoza (ƒ10), and Michiel de Ruyter (ƒ25), reflecting the country’s historical and intellectual legacy. Printed in bold colours and artistic styles, these notes are no longer in circulation, having been replaced by the Euro in 2002, making them desirable collectibles. Offered in circulated condition, each note may show signs of use such as folds, creasing, or edge wear, but all retain their original charm and legibility. These banknotes are ideal for beginner collectors, educational displays, or anyone interested in 20th-century European monetary history. A nostalgic and affordable way to own authentic pieces of Dutch currency.
