Product Description
An authentic Silva Huntsman NATO Pilot’s Emergency Compass, originally issued as part of military survival kits for aircrew and pilots. Manufactured in Sweden with a NATO stock number (NSN 6605-99-779-1291) engraved on the case, this compact compass features a liquid-filled capsule, red/white needle, rotating bezel, and safety pin attachment for clothing or kit. Designed for emergency navigation, it was carried by NATO pilots, including those flying high-performance jets in the 1970s-80s era, and used by armed forces worldwide as a reliable survival tool. The compass also functions as a basic timing sunwatch and comes in its original NATO marked box. A prized piece of military navigation history, ideal for collectors, aviation enthusiasts, or survival kit restorations
