Product Description
The Royal Engineers King George VI Bi-Metal Cap Badge features the monogram "GVIR" (George VI Rex) beneath the King’s Crown, symbolizing loyalty to the monarch. The badge combines gilding metal and white metal, giving it a distinctive appearance. A laurel and garter wreath surrounds the central monogram, bearing the motto "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" ("Shame on him who thinks evil of it"). Below the wreath, a scroll reads "Royal Engineers." Used from 1936-1952, this badge reflects the Corps' vital role in engineering and logistics during WWII and the post-war era.
