When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
Exceptionally scarce original First World War German 9mm Pistolenpatrone 08 ammunition packet, dated 7 June 1918 and complete with 16 period inert cartridges.
The original packet is clearly marked “16 Patronen 08” and retains its surviving factory label with the date 7. Juni 1918, together with original ammunition production and component information.
Importantly, the packet contains the full complement of 16 period German 9×19mm cartridges. These comprise:
9 × Ge 6 18 D – June 1918
7 × Ge 11 17 D – November 1917
The Ge / D headstamp identifies production by Gustav Genschow & Co. of Durlach, Germany.
The combination is particularly interesting, with cartridges from late 1917 and June 1918 surviving together in a June 1918-dated packet.
Original WWI German pistol ammunition packets were disposable packaging and surviving examples are considerably more difficult to find than individual cartridges. Finding an original dated packet together with its full complement of 16 period cartridges makes this an especially attractive Great War ammunition display.
The packet remains in good historic condition for its age, retaining much of the original printed label. There is expected age-related staining, wear, paper loss and opening damage. It has not been restored.
