Product Description
This original INERT WWII-era German 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge bears the headstamp P186 • 1938, indicating production by Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH, Werk Berlin-Spandau, a major German ammunition plant. Fully deactivated for safe handling, the round retains its authentic wartime finish, markings, and pre-war characteristics. Produced in 1938, it represents standard infantry ammunition for the Kar98k rifle and MG34 machine gun during Germany’s rapid military expansion prior to WWII. With a clear factory code, date stamp, and inert status, this cartridge is highly collectible and valued for historical display, study, and as a tangible example of German ordnance history.
