Product Description

This rare set of 20 original WWII 6.5mm Carcano rounds housed in the distinctive Breda 30 machine gun clip offers an exceptional piece of Italian wartime ammunition history. The Breda Mod.30, Italy’s standard light machine gun during the Second World War, used a unique side‑loading 20‑round clip system, making complete, original examples increasingly difficult to find today.

Each cartridge in this set is headstamped “AA – 39”, identifying manufacture in 1939 by Arsenale di Artiglieria (AA), one of Italy’s official military ammunition producers. These early‑war rounds retain their original finishes, military ball projectiles, and correct case profiles, representing the ammunition issued to Italian forces at the outbreak of WWII. All cartridges are professionally rendered fully inert, containing no live primer or propellant, ensuring complete safety for display and handling.

The Breda 30’s rigid 20‑round clip was essential to the weapon’s operation, and surviving examples with a full complement of matching‑dated rounds—particularly from a recognised maker such as AA—are increasingly scarce and highly sought after by advanced collectors.

Perfect for enthusiasts of WWII ammunition, Italian militaria, or small‑arms history, this AA‑39 dated 20‑round 6.5mm Carcano Breda 30 clip is a historically significant and visually impressive display piece.
