All orders are subject to a delivery, packing & handling charge. Product Description

Original Second World War German 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge, manufactured in 1944 by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken AG (DWM) at its Berlin-Borsigwalde factory, Germany.

This genuine wartime example features a copper-coloured round-nosed projectile and an olive-green lacquered steel cartridge case, retaining its original military appearance.

Historical Background

DWM was one of Germany's major ammunition manufacturers during the Second World War. Its Berlin-Borsigwalde factory produced military small-arms ammunition under the secret manufacturer code 'asb'.

The 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge was standard ammunition for German military weapons, including the P08 Luger, Walther P38 and MP38/MP40 submachine guns.

By 1944, steel cartridge cases were widely employed to conserve brass for other essential wartime production.
