Product Description
Original Swedish Army M1909 cold weather field coat, featuring a heavy olive canvas outer shell with thick sheepskin lining and oversized shearling collar. These coats were designed for extreme Scandinavian winter conditions and issued for military cold-weather use.
This style is commonly associated with Swedish Army wartime and mid-century production, with many surviving examples dated to the 1940s, including 1944 Örebro manufactured coats. The M1909 pattern is now highly regarded by collectors, vintage clothing buyers and military surplus enthusiasts due to its rugged construction, distinctive appearance and exceptional warmth.
A substantial and highly wearable piece of Scandinavian military history, ideal for militaria display, winter wear or vintage workwear styling.
These coats are very large and were designed to be worn over the top of an outfit.
