Product Description
An original inert German 9×19mm Parabellum cartridge bearing the kam 11 67 1943 headstamp. This is a genuine Second World War military cartridge manufactured for the Wehrmacht during 1943.
The kam manufacturer's code identifies HASAG (Hugo Schneider AG), Werk Skarżysko-Kamienna, located in occupied Poland. Originally established as the Polish State Ammunition Factory, the plant was taken over by Germany following the invasion of Poland in 1939 and became one of the Third Reich's largest producers of small arms ammunition for the Wehrmacht.
Unlike many German 9mm cartridges that use S (brass) or St (steel) markings, this cartridge carries the 67 case designation. The 67 indicates a brass cartridge case containing approximately 67% copper, an alternative way of identifying the brass alloy used in German military cartridge manufacture. This marking is encountered on some German wartime pistol ammunition and denotes the composition of the case material rather than a separate manufacturer.
