Product Description
Headstamped ELEY .375, this cartridge represents the golden age of British sporting ammunition and was intended for use in sporting and hunting rifles during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. Eley ammunition was renowned throughout the British Empire and was widely used by hunters, explorers and sportsmen pursuing game across Africa, India and North America.
This example features a brass case and traditional round-nose projectile typical of early sporting ammunition. The simple calibre headstamp is characteristic of Eley's commercial sporting cartridge production.
