Product Description
Original WW2-era inert .55 Boys Anti-Tank cartridge with K41 headstamp, manufactured by Kynoch in 1941 for use in the famous British Boys Anti-Tank Rifle.
Introduced before the Second World War, the Boys rifle was designed to provide British and Commonwealth forces with a portable anti-armour weapon capable of engaging lightly armoured vehicles and fortified positions. The powerful .55 Boys cartridge (13.9×99mmB) became one of the most recognisable British heavy small arms rounds of the war.
This example features the classic large bottleneck case and substantial projectile associated with the Boys rifle system, making it an impressive display piece for WW2 collectors, anti-tank weapon enthusiasts, or large calibre ammunition displays.
The K41 headstamp identifies production by Kynoch in 1941, during the height of British wartime ammunition manufacture.
