Product Description

This original Inert .308 Winchester round features a distinctive nickel-finished soft-nose bullet, a style commonly used for hunting and sporting applications. The nickel coating provides improved corrosion resistance, while the exposed lead nose ensures reliable expansion on impact in its live form. This example has been professionally rendered completely inert, containing no live primer or powder, making it safe for handling and display.

A smart addition to any ammunition collection, this .308 round showcases the design and construction of mid- to late-20th-century sporting ammunition. Ideal for collectors, educational displays, or as a reference piece for shooters and reloading enthusiasts.
