Product Description
An original British Army 1944 Pattern Webbing Ammunition Pouch (Right Hand), dated 1945 and presented in outstanding unissued condition.
Developed during the latter stages of the Second World War, the 1944 Pattern Web Equipment was intended to replace the earlier 1937 Pattern webbing and featured improved load-carrying capability and simplified production methods. This right-hand ammunition pouch formed part of the infantryman's fighting order and was designed to carry rifle ammunition and associated equipment.
This example retains its original khaki webbing, strong stitching and crisp construction, showing little to no evidence of service use. The 1945 date places it amongst the final wartime and immediate post-war production runs, making it an excellent example for collectors of British military equipment, webbing, and post-war Commonwealth militaria.
Features:
- Original British Army 1944 Pattern Webbing
- Right-hand ammunition pouch
- Clearly dated 1945
- Genuine military issue item
- Excellent unissued condition

- Ideal for collectors, displays, reenactment and webbing sets
