Product Description
Original Israeli 7.92×57mm Mauser wooden-bullet training ammunition complete with its original Hebrew-labelled cardboard packet.
An unusual Cold War-era Israeli ammunition collectible consisting of the original packet and 20 rounds of 7.92mm ammunition fitted with the characteristic purple/violet wooden projectiles.
The Hebrew label identifies the contents as 20 rounds of 7.92mm ammunition and refers to the wooden projectile loading. The packet carries “5/56”, indicating May 1956 production. This dating convention is consistent with documented Israeli 7.92mm ammunition from the period; collector documentation specifically records Israeli 7.92 headstamps using month/year markings, including examples from 1956.
The individual brass cases also display Israeli/Hebrew markings and the 56 date. The purple wooden projectiles make this a particularly distinctive display piece and an excellent companion to an Israeli K98/Mauser collection.
The original cardboard packet remains substantially complete with clear Hebrew printing. There is age-related wear, creasing and some damage/opening to the end flaps, as clearly shown in the photographs.
Supplied strictly as an inert collector/display item.
