Product Description
This original inert 6.5mm Japanese Arisaka cartridge is a genuine example of Imperial Japanese military ammunition, widely used during the early to mid-20th century. The 6.5x50mmSR Arisaka cartridge was the standard service round for the Japanese military and was primarily issued for use in the famous Imperial Japanese Army service rifles, including the Type 38 rifle.
Introduced in 1897, the 6.5mm Arisaka cartridge became known for its reliability, moderate recoil, and excellent accuracy. It remained in widespread service through the Russo-Japanese War, the First World War, and throughout the Second World War. Its long service life makes it one of the most historically significant Japanese military calibres.
This inert example features a brass cartridge case with original military profile and finish, retaining clear period manufacturing characteristics. It has been professionally deactivated and contains no live primer or propellant, ensuring it is completely safe for handling, display, or educational purposes.
