Product Description

Original inert German WWII 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge bearing the headstamp P25 IX g1 40 47.

Manufactured in 1940 by Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH, Werk Sebaldushof, this cartridge represents early wartime German ammunition production. The cartridge features a copper-plated steel case as indicated by the IX g1 case code, reflecting Germany's increasing use of alternative materials during the war.

An excellent original example of Wehrmacht small arms ammunition and a desirable addition to any collection of German militaria, inert ammunition, or headstamp variations. The headstamp remains clear and legible, making it particularly attractive to cartridge collectors and researchers.
