Product Description

Original inert Egyptian 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge dating from approximately the 1950s, produced for Egyptian military use during the early post-war period.

The 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge remained in widespread service with Egypt following the Second World War, used in a variety of Mauser-pattern rifles and machine guns adopted by the Egyptian armed forces.

This cartridge represents the transitional Cold War era, when many nations continued to utilise wartime German-designed weapon systems and ammunition calibres before standardising to newer NATO or Soviet cartridges.

Featuring the classic bottleneck Mauser case design and military headstamp format, this example makes an excellent addition to any Middle Eastern militaria collection, Mauser ammunition display, or Cold War reference set.
