Product Description
Original WW2-era inert 7.92×57mm Mauser cartridge with bne St 1945 headstamp, manufactured by Metallwarenfabrik Treuenbrietzen GmbH, Germany.
Dated 1945, this round represents very late-war German production, a period marked by material shortages and simplified manufacturing processes. The “St” marking denotes a steel case (Stahlhülse), commonly used in the later stages of the war as brass became scarce.
This cartridge would have been standard issue for German forces, used in weapons such as the Kar98k rifle and MG34/MG42 machine guns.
A solid historical piece, ideal for WW2 collectors, German ammunition displays, or headstamp reference collections, particularly those focusing on late-war production changes.
