Product Description

Original inert 6.5×54 Mannlicher–Schönauer cartridge produced by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM), Germany.

This commercial sporting round carries the classic DWM “K 477 K” catalogue-style headstamp used on export and hunting ammunition during the early 20th century.

The 6.5×54 Mannlicher–Schönauer became one of Europe’s most respected sporting cartridges and was widely used in Greek Mannlicher military rifles as well as high-quality sporting rifles for hunting across Europe and Africa.

This example features a nickel/cupro-nickel jacketed projectile with black primer annulus and classic pre-war DWM commercial manufacture.

An excellent collectible cartridge for Mannlicher, DWM and early sporting ammunition collectors.
