Product Description

Original WW1-era inert .303 British cartridge with G 1918 F3 headstamp, produced under the British National Cartridge Factory system during the First World War.

The “G” factory code identifies manufacture within the government-controlled network of National Cartridge Factories, established to meet the enormous wartime demand for small arms ammunition. Dated 1918, this example represents late-war production, when output was at its peak to support Allied operations.

The F3 marking denotes case or batch identification, consistent with British wartime production methods.

This cartridge features the correct rimmed .303 case profile and period primer style, confirming its use in standard British service weapons such as the Lee-Enfield rifle and Vickers machine gun.

A strong historical piece, ideal for WW1 collectors, British military displays, or .303 headstamp reference collections, particularly those focusing on wartime industrial expansion.

✔ Dated 1918 (WW1 period)
✔ National Cartridge Factory production (G code)
✔ Late-war high output example
