Product Description

This is an inert .303 British cartridge, manufactured in 1943 by the South African Mint, Pretoria, identified by the U 43 headstamp. Produced during the Second World War for Commonwealth forces, these South African–made rounds are well-regarded for their quality and distinctive markings. Fully deactivated and UK-legal, this cartridge is completely safe for display, handling, or educational use. With its clear wartime headstamp and preserved brass case, it makes an excellent addition to any collection focused on WWII ammunition, Commonwealth production, or .303 British service rounds. A desirable and historically significant piece for collectors.
