Product Description

This original inert .303 British cartridge, featuring the K 1929 headstamp, is a fine example of pre-Second World War British military ammunition manufactured by Kynoch, one of the United Kingdom’s most prominent ammunition producers. Dated 1929, this round represents British service ammunition produced during the inter-war period, a time of rearmament and standardisation following the First World War.

The .303 British cartridge was the primary rifle calibre of the British Army and Commonwealth forces, issued for use in the Lee-Enfield rifle and associated machine guns. Kynoch-produced ammunition was widely supplied to both military and government contracts, and pre-war dated examples such as this are increasingly sought after by collectors.

This round has been professionally rendered completely inert, with no live primer or propellant, making it safe for handling, ownership, and display. It retains correct period dimensions, materials, and clear headstamp markings, enhancing its authenticity.

An excellent collectible for those specialising in British, Commonwealth, or pre-WWII ammunition, this inert cartridge displays well alongside Lee-Enfield rifles, charger clips, or early 20th-century military equipment.
