Product Description

Original inert .303 British Mk VII military cartridge featuring a K 1916 headstamp, manufactured during the First World War by Kynoch, one of Britain’s best-known military ammunition producers.

The “K” factory code denotes Kynoch manufacture, while the “VII” marking identifies the cartridge as the famous Mk VII loading adopted as Britain’s standard .303 service cartridge during the early 20th century.

Dated 1916, this cartridge originates from the height of First World War ammunition production and would have been intended for use in:

  • SMLE Lee-Enfield rifles
  • Vickers machine guns
  • Lewis guns
  • British and Commonwealth frontline service

WW1 dated Kynoch .303 rounds are highly collectible due to their direct wartime association and strong connection to British military history.

The cartridge retains an authentic military appearance with period brass casing and original projectile profile, making it an excellent collectible for:

  • WW1 militaria collections
  • Lee-Enfield collectors
  • British military ammunition displays
  • .303 headstamp collections
  • Kynoch ammunition collectors
