Product Description
Original inert .303 British military cartridge with “KF” headstamp for Kirkee Factory, India and dated September 1937. Manufactured at the famous British Indian Government ammunition factory at Kirkee (now Khadki/Pune), this cartridge represents pre-WW2 Commonwealth military ammunition production during the British Empire period.
The .303 British cartridge was the standard service round for British and Commonwealth forces and was widely used in Lee-Enfield rifles, Bren guns and Vickers machine guns across the Empire. Ammunition from Kirkee Factory is highly collectible today due to its direct connection to British India and Commonwealth military history.
This inert example features the classic brass military case with clear 1937 date marking from the important pre-war rearmament era. A superb addition to British Empire, Indian military and .303 headstamp collections.
Ideal for collectors of:
- British Empire militaria
- Indian military history
- Lee-Enfield ammunition
- Commonwealth cartridge collections
- Historic .303 British rounds
A genuine pre-WW2 British Indian military cartridge from one of the Commonwealth’s key ammunition factories.
