Product Description
Original inert .303 British Mk VII Z cartridge manufactured in 1917 at Government Cartridge Factory No.3 (F3), Blackpole, Worcester, England. Produced during the First World War for use in Lee-Enfield rifles and British machine guns including the Vickers and Lewis gun.
The “VII” designation identifies the standard Mk VII service loading, while the “Z” suffix denotes nitrocellulose propellant rather than traditional cordite loading — a notable WW1 variation sought after by collectors.
Factory code “F3” relates to the Government Cartridge Factory at Blackpole, Worcester, an important wartime ammunition facility established during WW1.
An excellent genuine Great War dated inert cartridge ideal for WW1, Lee-Enfield and British militaria collections.
