Product Description

Original inert .30-06 Springfield cartridge manufactured by Remington Arms in 1941 during the early years of the Second World War.

This .30-06 round represents the vast wartime ammunition production undertaken by the United States prior to and during its support of Allied nations under the Lend-Lease programme. Large quantities of American .30-06 ammunition were shipped to Great Britain and Commonwealth forces for aircraft armament, training and machine gun use throughout the war.

The cartridge features a brass case, copper FMJ projectile and military-style primer sealant, making it an excellent example of early WW2 American military ammunition production.
