Product Description
Original inert 20x139mm DM64 “Break-Up” cannon round complete with its original cardboard transit tube. This impressive large-calibre training/display cartridge is a striking example of modern European 20mm ammunition and makes an excellent display piece for militaria, ordnance, or ammunition collections.
The projectile is clearly marked:
“20 MM BREAK-UP DM84 C051-0”
and the base markings include:
“20x139DM1001A7” and “NM-348-X”
This style of 20mm ammunition was associated with modern autocannon systems using the powerful 20x139mm cartridge family. “Break-Up” rounds were designed as frangible/training types intended to disintegrate on impact with hard targets, reducing ricochet risk during training exercises.
The round has been professionally inerted and is sold strictly as a non-firing collector’s display item. Finished in an attractive matte black casing with olive projectile, it has a very clean military display appearance and comes with its original protective cardboard tube.
