Product Description
This green British Jungle Hat dated 1963 is an excellent example of early Cold War–era military headwear, designed for use in hot and humid environments. Made from lightweight, breathable cotton, the hat was intended to provide comfort and protection during jungle operations, particularly in tropical theatres where ventilation and practicality were essential.
This example is in outstanding condition, showing minimal to no signs of use, and can accurately be described as as good as new. The colour remains strong and unfaded, with clean stitching throughout and no damage or repairs. It is a large size and features an adjustable fit, making it both practical to wear and highly desirable for collectors.
Original 1960s jungle hats in this condition are increasingly difficult to find, especially with clear dating and such excellent preservation. A superb addition to any British military, Cold War, or jungle warfare collection, as well as an ideal display or wearable piece.
