All orders are subject to a delivery, packing & handling charge. When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Original antique British .500 sporting rifle cartridge, manufactured by Eley and clearly headstamped ELEY . 500.
This is a substantial large-bore British sporting cartridge associated with the classic big-game and express-rifle era. Eley produced a range of large-calibre sporting ammunition, including .500 cartridges, and surviving collector examples with the ELEY .500 headstamp are documented.
The cartridge features a large rimmed brass case and traditional large-bore sporting projectile. The headstamp is particularly clear and makes this an attractive example for a collection of British sporting ammunition, Eley cartridges or historic large-calibre rifle ammunition.
The cartridge is being sold as a collector's inert display item only and is not represented as ammunition suitable for firing.
Condition: Good overall collector condition with some age-related tarnishing and surface marks to the brass, as shown. The ELEY .500 headstamp remains clearly legible.
