Product Description
This is a Danish 20x120 mm Madsen brass cartridge case, manufactured for use with the Madsen 20 mm automatic cannon. The headstamp “HA” denotes production by the Danish Government Arsenal in Copenhagen (Hærens Arsenal), a key supplier of military munitions during the early to mid-20th century. The 20x120 mm round was widely used in anti-aircraft and naval roles, as well as on armoured vehicles. Constructed from solid brass, the cartridge case is large and impressive in display, with clearly struck headstamp markings. Inert examples are highly sought after by collectors of WW2 and interwar ordnance, particularly those specialising in Scandinavian military ammunition and artillery-related militaria.
