Product Description

The Bronze AE3 coin of Constantine I minted in Thessalonica between AD 336 and AD 337, is a significant numismatic piece from the reign of the renowned Roman Emperor Constantine the Great.

On the obverse of the coin, a portrait of Constantine I is depicted, showcasing his imposing and authoritative presence as the ruler of the Roman Empire. He is typically shown wearing a laurel wreath, symbolizing victory and success. The reverse side of the coin often features various intriguing and intricate designs, such as the depiction of the city goddess of Thessalonica seated on a throne, holding a scepter and an orb, representing the city's significance and prosperity.

The coin's small size and denomination, AE3, reflect the monetary reforms initiated by Constantine I to stabilize the currency and promote economic stability.
