Product Description

This British Radway Green 1957-dated inert 9mm round is an excellent example of post-war British small-arms ammunition, produced at the renowned Royal Ordnance Factory Radway Green (RG). Featuring the clear “RG 57” headstamp, this cartridge represents the standard 9×19mm ammunition issued to British forces during the mid-20th century, commonly used in weapons such as the Sten, Sterling, and Browning Hi-Power pistols.

Fully inert and professionally deactivated, the round contains no live primer or propellant, making it completely safe for display, collecting, and educational purposes. Despite deactivation, the cartridge retains its original case finish, bullet profile, and period manufacturing characteristics, allowing collectors to appreciate authentic Cold War–era British production quality.

Radway Green ammunition from the 1950s is sought after for its historical value and collectability, particularly as surviving examples in good condition become increasingly scarce. This piece is ideal for inclusion in a British ammunition reference collection, a Cold War equipment display, or a museum-style exhibit focusing on post-WWII developments in British military logistics.

A genuine and well-preserved example of 1950s British 9mm ammunition, this RG-stamped inert round provides both historical insight and an attractive display item for any serious collector.
