Product Description
This British Army 1937 Pattern Webbing Large Pack, clearly marked M.E.C.O. 1940, is an authentic piece of Second World War military equipment. Designed to be a core component of the 1937 Pattern webbing set, the large pack was issued to infantry and support troops to carry bulky items such as greatcoats, rations, entrenching tools, and personal kit. Its robust cotton web construction in the correct wartime khaki shade and period-correct fittings reflect the practical design principles of British Army gear used from the early years of the conflict across multiple theatres.
The M.E.C.O. 1940 stamp indicates manufacture by a recognized contractor early in the war, adding provenance and interest for collectors. This large pack attaches securely to the rest of the 1937 Pattern ensemble and complements pouches, haversacks, and water bottles. Ideal for militaria displays, historical collections, and reenactment setups, it represents durable British Army field equipment from the pivotal early period of WWII.
