Product Description
This is an original British Army 1958 Pattern Webbing Yoke, a vital component of the iconic '58 Pattern personal load-carrying system. Issued throughout the Cold War period, this yoke was designed to evenly distribute the weight of webbing pouches and equipment across the shoulders for improved comfort during extended operations.
Constructed from durable olive green webbing, the yoke features adjustable straps, metal fittings, and reinforced stitching for reliable use in the field. It connects securely to the 1958 Pattern belt and utility pouches via brass hooks and buckles, forming the backbone of the British Army’s standard webbing setup from the late 1950s through the 1990s.
This example is in good to excellent condition, with strong fabric, fully functional hardware, and no major damage. Some may show signs of light service wear or fading, which adds to their authenticity for collectors or living history use.
An essential item for any Cold War-era British Army loadout, ideal for reenactors, military vehicle displays, or completing your original 1958 Pattern webbing set.
