When shipping items, we use the UK Royal Mail, EVRI, DPD and Parcel Force in the event of a parcel arriving with contents damaged ALL the packaging must be kept for inspection by the delivering shipping contractor whoever that contractor is, failure to adhere to this WILL result in ANY claim being denied.

Product Description
An interesting early British .303 Cordite Ball Mk II cartridge, manufactured by Greenwood & Batley Ltd of Leeds.
The headstamp is clearly marked “GB C II”, with GB representing Greenwood & Batley, C denoting the Cordite loading and II identifying the Mark II pattern.
This early .303 type features the distinctive round-nosed, metal-jacketed projectile, giving it a noticeably different appearance from the later pointed Mk VII cartridges associated with the First and Second World Wars.
The example displays well with an attractive aged brass case and clearly readable headstamp. There is a visible split to the case neck, as shown in the photographs, which has been taken into account in the price.
A desirable early .303 variation for the British ammunition or headstamp collector.
