Product Description
An original 6.5×55mm Swedish Mauser inert cartridge featuring the desirable Metallverken K headstamp, representing classic Scandinavian military ammunition production.
The 6.5×55mm cartridge became one of the most respected military rifle calibres ever developed, renowned for its superb accuracy, reliability, and exceptionally high manufacturing quality. Used extensively in Swedish Mauser service rifles such as the m/1896 and m/1938, the calibre remained in military use for decades.
The Metallverken marking relates to Swedish industrial ammunition manufacture, while the “K” designation is associated with production at the Karlsborg area military manufacturing system connected to Swedish state defence production. These headstamps are well known among Scandinavian ammunition collectors and are increasingly sought after as interest in Swedish Mauser rifles continues to grow.
This example retains authentic military appearance with clear markings and attractive age-related patina, making it an excellent display piece for collectors of Swedish militaria, Mauser ammunition, or Scandinavian military history.
A strong addition to any inert ammunition collection, particularly for those building Swedish or Nordic military cartridge displays.
This cartridge has been rendered completely inert and is safe for display purposes only.
