Product Description

Original WW1-era inert .303 British cartridge with G 1918 F3 headstamp, produced under the British National Cartridge Factory system during the First World War.

The “G” factory code identifies production from one of the government-controlled National Cartridge Factories established to dramatically increase ammunition output during wartime. Dated 1918, this round represents late-war production from the final year of the conflict.

The F3 marking denotes a wartime case or batch identification code, consistent with British military production methods of the period.

This cartridge features the correct rimmed .303 British case profile used in standard British service weapons such as the Lee-Enfield rifle and Vickers machine gun, making it an excellent historical display piece for collectors of WW1 militaria and British ammunition.

A strong collector example from Britain’s wartime emergency production programme.
