Product Description
An original 6.5×54mm inert military cartridge in excellent condition, featuring the HA 1947 headstamp and retaining strong original finish and clear markings.
Produced during the immediate post-war period, this cartridge represents continued European military ammunition manufacture following the end of the Second World War. The 1947 date places it within the transitional years where many nations continued using proven military rifle calibres while rebuilding and modernising armed forces.
The cartridge remains in excellent overall condition with sharp headstamp detail and attractive age-related patina, making it an ideal display or collector piece. Ammunition of this type is increasingly sought after by collectors specialising in European military cartridges, Mauser-era ammunition, and post-war militaria.
The 6.5mm military calibres developed a strong reputation for accuracy and reliability, with many remaining in military and reserve use for decades after their original adoption. Examples with clear post-war dates and well-preserved markings such as this are becoming harder to find in superior condition.
A strong addition to any inert ammunition collection or military display.
This cartridge has been rendered completely inert and is safe for display purposes onl
