Product Description

An original 1928 dated .303 British inert cartridge featuring the classic K 28 headstamp, identifying manufacture by the famous British ammunition producer Kynoch.

Kynoch was one of Britain’s best-known ammunition manufacturers and supplied vast quantities of military ammunition to British and Commonwealth forces during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The company became particularly associated with high-quality .303 British production for both military and commercial use.

The .303 British cartridge served as the standard rifle and machine gun calibre of British and Commonwealth forces for decades, used extensively in iconic firearms such as the Lee-Enfield rifle, Bren gun, and Vickers machine gun.

Dated 1928, this cartridge originates from the important interwar period between the First and Second World Wars, reflecting continued British military stock production and reserve preparation during the years leading up to WW2.

This example retains authentic period appearance with clear headstamp markings and attractive age-related patina, making it an excellent collectible for enthusiasts of British militaria, Kynoch ammunition, or historic .303 cartridges.

A strong addition to any inert ammunition collection or historical display.
