This authentic WWII Sterilized Large Wound Dressing No. 5 was issued to British military personnel for treating serious battlefield injuries. Designed to manage larger open wounds, this dressing features a sterile, absorbent pad wrapped in a protective covering and conforms to B.P.C (British Pharmacopoeia Cotton) standards. It remains sealed in its original wartime packaging, with clear printed instructions and markings. These dressings were standard items in both personal first aid kits and medic pouches.
