Product Description
The Royal Signals badge of World War II is a distinguished emblem representing the British Army's Royal Corps of Signals. The badge features the figure of Mercury, the Roman messenger god, symbolizing swift communication. Mercury is depicted holding a caduceus, a winged staff with two serpents, symbolizing peace and negotiation, while standing on a globe, representing global communication. Above Mercury, there is a royal crown, indicating the corps' allegiance to the British monarchy. The badge, often worn on the uniform's cap or collar, embodies the Royal Signals' crucial role in maintaining secure and reliable communications during the war
