The WWI Royal Engineers Non-Voided Economy Cap Badge, featuring King George V's cypher, is a historic military insignia used during World War I. Unlike other versions, this "economy" badge is non-voided, meaning it has a solid center without cut-out sections. It was introduced as a cost-saving measure during wartime. Worn by members of the British Army's Royal Engineers, it symbolizes the unit's crucial role in military engineering, construction, and logistics throughout the war
