Product Description

This is an original WW2 British brass pocket petrol lighter, manufactured by SEIGNEUR circa 1943—a superb example of wartime utility and craftsmanship. Compact, rugged, and functional, this lighter was designed for military use, often carried by British servicemen during the Second World War.

Crafted from solid brass, it features a classic rectangular body with a screw-top reservoir and flip-lid design. The piece bears subtle period wear and patina consistent with its age, highlighting its authenticity and service history. The flint wheel and wick are intact, and the lighter is in working condition with the addition of fuel and flint—ready for use or display.

Lighters like this were not only vital for lighting cigarettes but also used for tasks ranging from lighting stoves to signaling. Its sturdy construction made it a reliable companion in the field and a treasured personal item.

Highly collectible, this SEIGNEUR lighter is perfect for military historians, WW2 collectors, or vintage lighter enthusiasts. A functional piece of British wartime history, it represents the practical design and durability required by soldiers in demanding conditions.

An excellent addition to any World War II collection.
