Product Description

The Sealed Packet 20 x Players No. 6 King Size Cigarettes represents a classic product from the iconic British tobacco brand, John Player & Sons, established in 1877. Known for its distinct navy-blue packaging and the famous "sailor" logo, Player's No. 6 was one of the most popular cigarette brands in the UK during the mid-20th century.

Introduced in 1965, Player's No. 6 quickly gained prominence due to its affordability and strong tobacco blend, appealing to a wide range of smokers. The "King Size" variant offered a longer cigarette for those desiring a more substantial smoking experience. As smoking habits evolved, Player's No. 6 became synonymous with everyday smokers seeking a reliable and consistent product.

The sealed packet of 20 cigarettes typically features a foil lining to preserve freshness and quality. The brand reached its peak popularity during the 1970s, especially in working-class communities. However, with increasing awareness of the health risks associated with smoking and the rise of government regulations, the demand for cigarettes like Player's No. 6 began to decline in the late 20th century. Today, Player's No. 6 holds a nostalgic place in British cigarette history, a reminder of an era when smoking was a more socially accepted pastime
