Product Description
Original Swiss Army M1957 bayonet for the iconic SIG Stgw 57 battle rifle, complete with original black scabbard and brown leather frog.
This pattern bayonet was introduced during the Cold War period for use with the renowned Swiss Sturmgewehr 57 (Stgw 57) rifle. Swiss bayonets are widely respected for their exceptional machining quality, robust construction and precision finish.
Features include the distinctive ribbed black grip, polished spear-point blade, steel crossguard with muzzle ring and original issue scabbard. The bayonet is accompanied by its original Swiss leather frog, making it an attractive complete set for collectors.
Swiss military edged weapons are increasingly sought after due to their quality and comparatively limited availability compared with British or Soviet surplus bayonets.
An excellent Cold War militaria piece ideal for Swiss military, SIG rifle or bayonet collections.
